“The city of Pordenone hosts, for the fourth time, the writer Donatella Di Pietrantonio, winner of the Campiello Prize 2017 with “L’Arminuta”.
In 2017 in “Pordenonelegge” presented his third novel: “L’Arminuta”; which made her known on a larger audience.
Donatella Di Pietrantonio novels recurring themes are: “motherhood”, in its most contradictory and less unveiled aspects;
“sisterhood”, lived and agitated in strong and complex relationships; “resilience” of the young protagonists.
All of them told in the bright and harsh Abruzzo (Italy) landscape background and a rural environment depicted by the difficulty of relationships.
The dry and direct writing, rich in expressions on loan from the dialect, catch and chains the reader on the page.”
